Employment Information
The Whitman Police Department is a Civil Service
department. Our hiring practices are governed by the laws contained in
Massachusetts General Law Chapter 31 and the procedures promulgated by the
Massachusetts Human Resources Division. An entry level examination is held every
two years. The application and announcement notice for the exam can be obtained
at the Whitman's Town Clerk's office. The application must be submitted directly
to HRD.
